Over the next couple of weeks I’m updating the site and overhauling the template.  Please bear with me as, to be honest, I’m too busy to keep swapping from one template to another.

Every site I build these days is based on the Wordpress platform and having access to great themes is a pre-requisite.  I used free themes when I first started out but these really were not robust or flexible enough.  Also as I have become more demanding and without being a coder you need pretty good support.

So if you want great themes and even better support I cannot recommend Brian Gardeners Studio Press themes highly enough.

One of the reasons I haven’t posted so often on this site for the last 3 months is that I have been spending a lot of time trying to find a cost effective business model that will enable me to diversify my earnings stream.   Having built a good income using eBay I need to generate similar amounts from other affiliate programs so that my earnings are protected.

I have tried a number of models and failed miserably however I have dropped on a very interesting site in the last few days which is the first I’ve felt was worth writing about.  Niche Review Templates provides complete mini review sites for just $47 per month and I mean complete.  You receive 2 templates a month in a “hot” clickbank niche complete with reviews, graphics, content, autoresponder messages and articles.  This saves hours and hours of work.

You can use them as PPC landing pages/sites with minor changes.  By minor I mean add the relevant url links and and your clickbank id or, you can go after organic traffic in which case I would recommend having the content rewritten to avoid any duplicate content penalties (if you beleive it that kind of thing – I’m testing the theory at the moment).

There is even an option to upgrade to a wordpress blog version which would allow you to increase organic traffic to the sites by regularly dripping out posts.

These niches are in pretty competitive areas but it ist easy to find some good keywords with decent volume that you can target.  These phrases will be particularly easy to rank for as well if you use the 3 Way Links service I wrote about earlier in the week.

I’m long overdue and update on this site so I thought I better make it a good one.  For those of you that have visited the site regularly you’ll know that in August of last year I was only making $600 per month from my niche stores.  By the end of the year that had increased to $6000 an increase by a factor of 10.  Pretty impressive results but how did I do it?

Well, there were a number of contributing factors but the tool that really made the difference was the 3 Way Links system by Jon Leger.  I signed up for this in July and it started to work immediately as my traffic and therefor earnings grew month on month thereafter.  I cannot say enough good things about this system.  The cost is a paltry $47 per month which has been paid back to me so many times over that in hindsight the decision was a complete no brainer.
